Usage guidelines:
Before using BLEPHACLEAN® PF, users should wash their hands thoroughly and be sure to remove contact lenses. One wipe should be used for each eye.
Step-by-step how to use:
1. Wrap the wipe around the top of your index finger. Keeping your eye closed, carefully place the wipe on your eyelids and the base of your eyelashes.
2. Gently massage with small circular movements, removing any crusts, secretions or make-up.
3. In front of a mirror, gently pull your lower eyelid down with your other hand. Then wipe along the edge of your lower eyelid.
4. Repeat on the other eye, using a new wipe. There is no need to rinse after using BLEPHACLEAN® PF wipes.
When To Use This Product:
When eyelid hygiene might be needed
Regular eyelid cleansing plays an important role in the management of some eyelid disorders, such as:
• Blepharitis (anterior and posterior) (inflammation of the eyelids)
• Dry eye associated with meibomian gland dysfunction (glands located inside the eyelids which do not work properly)
• Conjunctivitis (bacterial and allergic)
• Chalazion and stye
• Children and babies can also suffer from allergies and eyelid infections. It’s important to maintain good hygiene to help manage symptoms.
BLEPHACLEAN® PF wipes can also be used:
• Pre- or post-eye surgery: Helps keep the eyelid area clean as advised by your eye care professional.
• As part of a daily eyelid cleansing routine: Use one wipe on each eyelid twice daily, morning and night.
• When travelling: Each sterile wipe is individually wrapped and easy to carry in your bag or pocket with no need to rinse after use.

1. What is the difference between BLEPHACLEAN® & BLEPHACLEAN® PF?
The only physical difference between the two wipes products is the material of the BLEPHACLEAN® PF, which is 100% plant-based (cellulose fibres) whereas the previous version contains plastic fibres. There is no plastic in the wipe for BLEPHACLEAN® PF. The lotion formula in both products is identical and so efficacy and tolerability stay the same for both products.
2. Is BLEPHACLEAN® PF still suitable to use from 3 months of age?
Yes, BLEPHACLEAN® PF is still suitable for babies from 3 months old.
